Early Walnut Table by George Nakashima
Early Walnut Table by George Nakashima
An early side table made from a free-edged walnut plank with four spindle legs in 1961, by George Nakashima. This table has an excellent provenance as it was ordered from George Nakashima Studio in 1961 and installed in a house in Michigan designed by architect Edward Olenki (American, 1922-2002) and Joseph F. Albano (American, 1906-1990), who trained with Mies van der Rohe in Chicago. It comes with a copy of the order card, receipt and an authentication letter from Nakashima Studio in New Hope.
